The ceremony marked a historic milestone for the National Independent Movement for Boakai, reflecting the continued growth and institutional strengthening of the political movement that has remained committed to supporting the vision and leadership of His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., President of the Republic of Liberia.
Speaking on the significance of the occasion, Hon. Williams described the groundbreaking ceremony as a symbol of unity, progress, and enduring commitment to nation-building.
“This groundbreaking ceremony represents more than the beginning of a construction project; it is a visible symbol of our collective commitment to strengthening our movement and supporting the national development agenda under the leadership of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai,” Hon. Williams stated.
As Chair on Recruitment, Mobilization, and Coordination, Hon. Williams emphasized that the establishment of a permanent headquarters reflects the movement’s dedication to organization, effective engagement, and long-term political coordination.
He further commended the leadership of NIMBO for their vision, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the movement’s mission. He also encouraged supporters and grassroots mobilizers across Liberia to remain actively engaged in promoting unity, democratic participation, and national progress.
The event brought together movement executives, community leaders, youth representatives, women groups, political stakeholders, and supporters from across the country, all gathered to witness what many described as a defining moment in the movement’s development.
The construction of the NIMBO headquarters is expected to serve as a central hub for coordination, strategic engagement, mobilization, and administrative activities as the movement continues to strengthen its national presence.
